HELLMAN NAMES NEW VICE PRESIDENT OF PUBLIC RELATIONS

Alyssa Becthold Recognized for Commitment and Leadership

Hellman has announced the promotion of Alyssa Becthold to Vice President/Public Relations. Becthold, previously the agency’s Public Relations Director, leads the agency’s team of public relations and social media experts in the generation of goodwill for its growing roster of clients, as well as for the Hellman agency.

Becthold specializes in developing and executing traditional public relations and social media strategies that maximize a company’s brand and protects their image. “Alyssa is the consummate professional, having managed public relations projects for agency clients on the international, national and regional level, including multiple Fortune 500 companies,” said Bob Hellman, Founder and Chairman of the Board at Hellman. “Her successes can be attributed to her hard work ethic and continued commitment to our company and our clients’ best interests. She’s a valuable asset to the Hellman team.”

Clients including Monsanto Company, GE Drivetrain Technologies, John Deere Wind Energy and Community National Bank turn to Becthold for her extensive experience in corporate communication, crisis management, media relations and training, community relations, brand maximization and promotion, social media, and event planning.

“Alyssa is a natural leader with a drive and commitment you rarely find. The energy she pours into her work for our clients and our community shows real passion for the public relations field. Whether she’s orchestrating an international news conference or developing a corporate communications strategy, Alyssa always goes above and beyond in her efforts,” said Ila Scott-Ford, Chief Marketing Officer at Hellman. “This promotion recognizes her past success, and is also a vote of confidence in her future leadership. It comes at a good time as she helps usher our clients into a new era of social media and strategic corporate communications.”

Becthold is also a highly recognizable professional and volunteer in the community, earning the prestigious distinction as one of the “Top 20 under 40” business leaders in the Cedar Valley by Courier Communications in 2007. She is co-chair of Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare’s “Heroes Among Us” event and has volunteered on the board of the American Heart Association’s “Go Red For Women” event.
